The Pitch

Our Film starts off with a chase scene and a discovery of a dead body. This will build tension and already make the audience start asking questions about the film. The equilibrium to our film has not been introduced yet ans the film starts with such a unique and changing plot. However, later in the film the equilibrium could be established as the students running away from their murderer until this equilibrium is broken when a fight scene develops and then a new equilibrium will be determined as the cast live happily ever after...

we used many technical shots in our film, for example we used many shots from a higher point of view or a 'birds eye view' shot. We used this shot as it makes the victim seem more vulnerable and builds tension as we are waiting for something bad to happen. We also used a point of view shot, this helped the audience really connect with the clip. These shots also make the victim seem more vulnerable and open to attack. These shots combined with our soundtrack help build a dramatic opening sequence. We also had to maintain the 180 degree rule and the 4th wall rule as well. This made sure that our film ran smoothly with no unnecessary complications that could completely ruin any tension the clip has built up.
